  • How do I make application for a Unit?
    If you wish to make application for Brunswick River Cottages, we suggest you commence by contacting us for further information, visiting the facilities and completing the required forms for application. If you find the paperwork and forms confusing, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our utmost to answer all of your questions. See How to Apply
  • Is there a waiting list?
    There can be a waiting list for Units available at Brunswick River Cottages. If that is the case upon enquiry, our staff will indicate an approximate time you are likely to be on the waiting list, before a place is open. Once you are on our waiting list, we will make regular contact with you to keep you updated about upcoming vacancies.
  • What type of housing is available?
    Brunswick River Cottages offers two types of independent living: 1. Lease-for-life: you purchase an exclusive lease and pay a fortnighly Operational Services Fee 2. Rental Units: you pay a fortnightly rent
  • Why should I choose Brunswick River Cottages?
    Our Cottages are designed for people to enjoy life in a comfortable and safe environment close to the beautiful Brunswick River, with access to local shops and amenities offered by the wider Brunswick community.
  • What would be my next step if I was interested in moving into a Brunswick River Cottage?
    Please contact our Receptionist/Manager on 08 9726 1452. for further information, we will be delighted to answer any questions and assist you with the admission process or visit our How to Apply Section.
  • Who provides routine home maintenance and gardening, etc?"
    Approved local contractors maintain all units and external communal areas. This includes: Lawn care and weed spraying Annual – Internal termite inspections and outdoor spider treatment Annual – RCD and smoke alarm checks Annual – Gutter cleaning Bi-Annual – Outdoor communal lighting
  • Are pets allowed (subject to management approval)?
    Yes, small pets are allowed subject to approval from management.
  • What local health professionals/pharmacy services are available?
    The following health services are available for residents to access as appropriate: A visiting doctor is available for appointments 3 times a week. Wellington Medical Centre – Monday 12.30-1 & Friday 10.30-12.00pm appointments are preferred but walk-ins are welcome. South West Aboriginal Medical Services - Tuesday 10-12 no appointment necessary and everyone is bulk billed. Brunswick Family Pharmacy open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm Nearest hospital services are available either in Harvey or Bunbury which can both be reached by driving approximately 25 minutes.
